Several students in South Shore School of Leadership High School say “school sucks.”

“School is boring, because it’s nothing to do,” said senior Brittney Walter.

Students cannot wait to get out of high school. Senior year is when students get their plans together for after high school.

Senioritis

Oh my gosh … I just got diagnosed with senioritis!

The “itis” has hit South Shore. Run because you’re next! Senioritis is a disease. It is an illness that students get in their last year of school.

Senioritis comes from the word “senior” and the suffix “itis,” which means a disease characterized by inflammation, often caused by an infection.

Teen Pregnancy Hits Teens Hard

Looking down at the plastic applicator, two pink lines were clearly visible.

“Mom, I am pregnant.” Those might be the worst words a parent could hear from their teen daughter.

According to the U.S Office of Public Health and Science, one in three girls in the United States is estimated to get pregnant before the age of 20.
